Free Corona rapid test Cologne – simply drop by for your antigen test without an appointment. With our rapid test centre in 50679 Cologne-Deutz, we support the government in its measures to contain the pandemic. The rapid test with us is free of charge for you under certain conditions:
- Children under the age of 5, i.e. up to their fifth birthday
- if you cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons
- if you are taking part in a clinical trial on the effectiveness of vaccines
- if you need a test to end quarantine
- if you are entitled to benefits or are employed by a person entitled to benefits
- if you are a carer
- if you are a member of the household of a person who is known to be infected

Under certain conditions, you can take a citizen’s test with us for an own contribution of 3 euros. The prerequisites are:
- that you are going to attend an indoor event on the day of the test
- that on the day of testing you will have contact with people who are at high risk of contracting severe Covid-19 (people aged 60 and over and/or with pre-existing conditions)
- that on the day of testing you will be in contact with people who are at high risk of developing severe Covid-19 (people with disabilities, people with pre-existing conditions)
- if you have received an indication of an increased risk through the Corona warning app (“red tile”)
If you would like to have a chargeable test, the fee for this is currently 9.95 EUR – this can be paid on site by credit card or Paypal.

At our Corona Rapid Test Center, adults and children without symptoms can be professionally tested for coronavirus using a rapid test. Just drop in and register. All you need is your ID card.
Reliable corona rapid test results in a short time
All Covid-19 Corona antigen rapid tests used by us are of course evaluated by the Paul Ehrlich Institute, certified by the BfArM and listed by the European Commission for COVID-19 antigen rapid tests.
Implementation on site with medically trained personnel
All employees in our Corona rapid test station are medically trained. The test is performed in compliance with the distance and hygiene guidelines with a strict hygiene concept.

Our employees are specially trained in the sensitive handling of children when performing the rapid antigen tests. We take a lot of time for the little ones and test very sensitively and with patience.

Citizen test possible several times a week
For ALL persons who have their domicile or permanent residence in the federal territory. You only need your valid identity card for this test.
Detection of: acute infection with SARS-CoV-2 by detection of one-white structures (viral antigens) of the coronavirus in the nasopharyngeal swab.
The test result for your rapid test can be evaluated after 15 minutes, depending on the workload, the result will arrive 20-30 minutes after swabbing via e-mail and QR code. Findings in German and English.
You will receive the test result for your PCR test after about 48 hours.
We use an antigen test in our rapid test center. This is performed on request by a front nasal swab or by a swab from the posterior pharynx or nasal cavity.

3. test smear at the test center
After registration, the nasal swab is performed in the test cabin by medically trained personnel. This usually takes only a few seconds. You can leave the test station afterwards.

Your Corona test will be evaluated. You can view the result of the antigen rapid test within 10-15 minutes via QR code and email (with your password).
